Boy, this account sure went stagnant for a while! I was really enjoying digital drawing, but I forgot to buy CSP before it went into the blasted subscription model so I have to learn another program and I just can't muster the strength to do so right now.

Of course, my absence doesn't really matter to anyone, which I suppose is the benefit of not being a big-time artist or anything wacky like that. That being said, I wanted to post this on the off chance that one or two of the folks who see my stuff were wondering where I went.

I'm kinda going through it right now, and it's been a bit tough. School's been biting at me, I'm still unable to reach out to people and make new friends, I've been covering up how stressed out and anxious I've been lately so folks don't worry, and I'm getting tired. I can't tell the one person I talk to daily about how messy I feel because I don't want them to be concerned. I'll get through this––I always do––but it's a toss-up between letting people be worried and getting support or feeling utterly alone but not worrying anyone. Neither choice is perfect, I suppose.

That being said! I'm not sure how often I'll post anything here in the near future. To anyone reading this far, I hope that something good happens to you today :-) Life is full of good things, and I can only hope that y'all are getting what you need out of it

Wowie, it is officially my birthday! One of the only days of the year when I feel like it's okay to treat myself with minimal guilt! Birthdays are super important to me, and I always make sure to message my bestest friends at midnight during their birthdays so that someone is celebrating for them from the earliest possible moment C: No one has messaged me yet, but that's okay!

I'm sure everyone is busy, right? It's not that I'm not important enough... right? At times like this, I realize that I can't expect anyone to be able to love me the way I love others.

Anyways! Happy Birthday to me!

Hey! If you're reading this, just remember to be kind to yourself! We're all human (at least, I'm pretty sure we are) and part of being human is making mistakes. That's kind of the wonderful thing about humanity, in a way. We can be messy and imperfect, but there's a certain kind of beauty in that. isn't there?

So if you're feeling a bit down and want some encouragement, chin up! You can do this, you've already made it this far, and life is too short to take too seriously. Be good!

Do you ever just start casually rooting around in someone's likes/interests/followings and realize there's a part of them you never knew about? Has it ever made you reconsider a lot about what you thought you knew about them or changed your opinion on them? Have you ever considered seriously adjusting your relationship with them since you don't think you'll ever be able to provide them with what they appear to be interested in? What about stepping away from that person entirely based on what you found?

Because if you have... gosh, that must be a totally normal and not-at-all jarring experience or something.
